High School of the Pacific (HSP), a project of Pacific Rim Education Foundation, Inc. (PREF), will be located in beautiful Kona, Hawaii. It is scheduled to open in September 2004 with a class of approximately twenty-five 9th grade students. Inspired by the Rev. Dr. S.M. Moon's vision for the people of the Pacific island nations, at full enrollment, the school will include a total of 200 students drawn from Hawaii and 12 independent island nations, including some of the smallest, most remote countries of earth.
One of the most important decisions is the selection of a headmaster who will assume leadership of the visionary project. The board is now seeking applications from an education professional whose academic credentials, experience and personal disposition and integrity will become a key component of this new institution.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their resume and letter of intent along with three professional references to the attention of Mr. Victor Jessop.
Persons interested in the position must submit documents (email acceptable) no later than January 24, 2003. A short list of candidates will be invited to attend a 2-day conference where they will receive a comprehensive introduction to HSP and individual interviews will be conducted by a selection committee.
Further inquires about the project can be directed to either Joe Tully or Victor Jessop at:
