What's PITA up to this year
Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA) has two main meetings organised for members during the year. The first meeting is held prior to the start of the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) annual conference held every January in Honolulu, Hawaii.
PITA also has its annual general meeting months before June (start of its financial year). Where requested by members or when the opportunity arises, other PITA events/activities are planned outside these meetings and can be held at different times of the year. PITA supports joint events with other organisations, with joint projects already planned for 2003 with the International Telecommunications Union [ITU], Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation [CTO], The Asia Pacific Telecommunity [APT], and the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre [APNIC].

Attendance to any PITA event is open to all members.
