Our January February Can U Id? photo of the late Charlie Gibbons, Palau’s most famous artist, evoked a lot of memories for Pacific Magazine readers who wrote of watching him paint at the old Palau Museum in Koror, commissioning paintings from him and in many cases, how privileged they felt to have met him.
First to correctly identify the photo were Abel Ramarui in Phoenix, Arizona and Joshua Willter in Sacramento, California. They will receive complimentary subscriptions.
