Palau Population 19,907 Says Ministry of Health
Palau's Minister of Health, Victor Yano, has settled the question of the population of Palau.
A report released on Wednesday to the public by the Ministry of Health says that there are a total of 19, 907 people living in Palau with 5,469 non-Palauans or 27%.
The statistics reveal that there are 1,136 Palauans age 65 or over with population growth at 1.3.
Life expectancy for females is 75.95 years while for males, 68.08.
Palau has one national hospital, three private clinics and nine dispensaries located throughout the nation.
