Visa exemptions for USA, Australia, Japan and EU

Citizens of the USA, Australia, Japan and the European Union can now visit Kiribati without a visa.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the order is to encourage more tourists from these countries to visit Kiribati.

It’s also aimed to increase the number of fly fishing sportsmen and other leisure visitors on Kiritimati Island, the capital of the Line and Phoenix Islands, which has an international air link from Fiji and Honolulu run by Air Pacific.
