Guam Soldier Killed In Iraq

A Guam soldier has died in Iraq, the Pacific Daily News reports.
The family on Guam of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Joseph Gamboa said it was notified of the trooper's death yesterday.
Gamboa's wife and five children live in Germany. They were reportedly preparing to return to the island to make arrangement's for Gamboa's funeral services.
There were no details of how Gamboa died in Iraq. He is the 25th soldier or U.S. Marine from the Pacific region to die in Iraq, Afghanistan or Africa since 2001, and the first to be killed this year, the newspaper reports.
